  • Last day of the noughties. I hated that word all decade long. Will it be teens or teenies?
  • The problem with a physical resolution system is that it dominates the experience of play.
  • Everything else in the game has to SHOUT story and even then it might not balance out.
  • Saturday night is for dating and drinking. I do neither, and I’ve got the night off work. Suggestions?
  • Stretch. Yawn. Shiver. It’s back to work, like it or not.
  • Just because you have a shit game, it doesn’t mean it’s a shit game.
  • I had a whopping night’s sleep. Looking forward to breaky.
  • Fred Hick’s figures have given me the pep I needed to prepare for this week’s writing. Thanks Fred.
  • Happiness is not a type of memory.
  • A box of After Eights is like all you can eat sushi…except with chocolate.

  2. Well enough. I’m tidying up the layout this evening. I’ve got about 20 pages left, and then some revisions of the playsheets. Looking forward to the playtest this Tuesday in UCD.

  3. Awesome. Too bad the playtest didn’t go too well.

  4. I have higher hopes for UCD. The game has changed a lot, and my strategy has changed too. Part of running a good presentation is in knowing your audience. In the Trinity playtest I had completely overestimated the players’ knowledge of the indie scene. This time I’ll be prepared.
