I’m a lucky sumbitch.
From my friends and family, I received Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition (WFRP3), Shab-Al-Hiri Roach plus Dead of Night.
You should buy these games (or have your family buy them for you). WFRP3 is gorgeous, wonderfully fiddly and different. It’s fantasy + grim + rich dice.
Shab-Al-Hiri Roach is, well, it’s one of those perception changing indie books. It’s witty but vulgar. The black humour RPG.
Dead of Night—I haven’t read it all yet, but it looks exciting and Paul-Bourne-pretty. Slasher flicks and rising tension mechanics.
