Robert Bohl, the free minded designer, posted an interesting mish-mash of meta products over on his blog. He combined a playtest report of Apocalypse World with the HfL Frame system to produce a micro actual play vignette. Interesting, quirky and lateral.

On the back of this, I’d like to point you guys to his game, Misspent Youth. I haven’t played it myself, but it looks like my cup of tea. Check it out. Support it.

He’s a good egg.

  1. Sebastian,

Thanks for the kind note. If you (or anyone) thinks they can run the game soon: I’m about to go to press in the next few months, so if you want to play a game in the next few months, let me know (I’m rob at misspentyouthgame.com) and I’ll send you a no-frills copy of the essentially-done-but-maybe-I-can-fit-a-correction-in-still version of the rules.

  2. PS: Sebastian, I’d love to see more about this game. I really like the Frame mechanic and I’d love to know more.

  3. Is it wrong that this just seems like the most logical way to me to sum up a session? Can’t wait to get my hands dirty again at LepreCON!
