Playtests have been rolling along like a train of growling juggernauts, one after the other, each with as much energy as the last, and each heavy with feedback.

A Typical HfL Playtest?

It might be nice to illustrate what a playtest means, since I’m hammering at them day to day. Sometimes I run them blind (large tables with people I don’t know, who don’t know the game), like the Trinity playtest a couple of weeks back, or the UCD playtest in the new year, but mostly I’m keeping the gaming groups friendly. It helps me to syphon meaningful, loving feedback (which is more useful during the development stage and really softens the blow for the Big changes). More… »
